For this 6^th edition, the regional authority has on more time decided to be the main partner of the Meeting International d’Athlétisme.

This repeating support shows a strong commitment above the organizers as well as our will to perpetuate this major event in the Caribbean sports calendar.

Since its creation, the success of the event does not weaken. Guadeloupe people come each year more to applaud prestigious champions with often prestigious awards. If the show is always present, the interest for a meeting of this scale is also to create and develop vocation for sports among our young generation.

This is why, in order to offer them the optimal conditions to practice their sports, the Regional Authority has settled up an ambitious sportive politic. This is particularly true to practitioners of athletics through the schematic director of sports facilities which entered a more active phase. As such, the renovation and the upgrading infrastructure plan will be continued as well the objective contracts with sports leagues and committees.

More than ever Guadeloupe stays and will stay a land of sports, a land of champions.
